- On Thursday afternoons 13.00pm – 18.30pm we are covered by Willows Urgent Care – Please call on 0116 2202578), this service is for urgent / emergencies services only.
- We will be closed on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 1pm for protected learning time.

Leicester City Healthcare Hubs
Appointments at the Healthcare HUBS can only be booked by GP practice, during practice opening hours of 8am to 6.30pm Mon-Fri. When the practice is closed, please call NHS 111 for advice.

Urgent Care Centres
There are 13 urgent care locations in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. In most services walk in capacity is available, but it is advisable to use NHS111 to ensure you are guided to the most appropriate service with a confirmed appointment time or arrival time slot. This will minimise waiting times and, for locations where there are fewer appointments available, it will avoid long waits or signposting to alternative services. The following locations can be used without an appointment.

If you think you might need an x-ray, there are three locations in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland that can be used instead of the Emergency Department without an appointment. These are:
- Loughborough Urgent Treatment Centre
- Market Harborough Minor Injury Unit (due to a limited waiting area, patients are advised to use NHS111 before travelling to avoid having to return later)
- Oakham Minor Injury Unit
Melton Minor Injury Unit can be used without an appointment for minor injuries not expected to require an x-ray.

Please ensure that you order your prescriptions in advance so that you will not run out of medication during the period the surgery is closed.
When We Are Closed
When our practice is closed you can still get support. You can get expert medical advice and useful information by calling NHS 111 or through 111 online https://111.nhs.uk/
The NHS 111 service is available 24 hours a day and can provide patient information, issue prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choice, book a GP appointment, and, if necessary, refer people to emergency services.
Please only use the out-of-hours service if your medical condition is such that you cannot possibly wait until the surgery opens again.
